Art Class
In Art class, we learn how to use different types of arts and do projects with them. Some of these projects include: Doodle Art, Potato Print, Clay Project, and Edible Art. We're usually taught how to do the type of art before we are instructed to do these projects. Art class really excersises your creativity. Even though I might have a little trouble in Art Class various times, it is still on of my favorite classes. The button below is a link to my Art teacher's, Ms. Pishione, website.
Doodle ArtIn Art class, we were assigned to draw a Doodle Art, which is a drawing with random pictures and lines. From this project, I learned that using different lines can make an image or enhance a drawing rather nicely. This assignment definitely helped me with my drawing skills, and my imagination skills. I like working with just black and white colors, and I like to just create and draw something random like this. I will definitely consider this type of drawing to draw when I need to get something off of my mind.

Potato PrintIn Art class, we had an assignment to carve a design out of a potato, and then paint the design and stamp our papers. There were a few restrictions though: There cannot be a focal point. The potato print has to fall off the page at some points. The teacher has to be able to tell what the potato print is representing. From this project, I learned how to create a potato print, and how to apply and nicely make a design with it. I also learned how to work with oil pastels, which I later applied to the project to fill the white background and to add a more visual design. I don't think this project helped me in any other school or life skills, but it really exercised my creativity and craftsmanship skills. I really liked creating a cool design like this using something as simple as potatoes. I also liked working with oil pastels in this project. I will definitely consider this type of "arts and crafts " project the next time my siblings and I are bored.
