In my Physical Education class, we learn about major muscle groups, and how to stay fit. We also have different units for about three weeks each, jump rope, badminton, martial arts, and dance, to name a few. I'm currently in football, and I intend attend wrestling afterward. I really like P.E. because it's a break from using our brains, and we can use our bodies instead. P.E. is definitely a period I look forward to everyday. Mr. Brown is my P.E. teacher. DancePreviously in P.E., we started a unit called Dance. Our assignment is to learned different dance moves the teacher shows us, and then finally get a partner and dance while combining the dance moves, and make the dance seem to flow correctly.
From this unit, I learned how to use and combine different dance moves while dancing, but that is not all. I also learned to keep tempo and beat, which was probably a skill I lacked before the class. This class probably helped me not be as shy and to more easily communicate with other students. I like the way our P.E. teachers taught us these dances, and I think I'll be able to dance pretty well whenever I'll need to. |
JumpropeIn P.E. class, our assignment was to either write down different jumprope tricks and do them without stopping, or to jump as many times we can in one minute. We had about three weeks to practice. I chose option two, because I'm not very good at jumprope. The second part of the assignment was to write a paragraph, about jumprope.
From this assignment, I learned that jumping rope is very good for you and your body. I also leared about eating healthy and various facts about your body. Writing a paragraph for this unit was actually a pretty good way of learning different facts about your body and jumprope. This assignment has helped me out with various types of excersises. I definitely recommend jumping rope daily, becuase your heart and body benefit from it, and calories are easy to lose that way. |
