In my Science Workshop class, we are learning how to create different rockets, and do different things with them. In the end, our assignment will to be to create a rocket like one of the ones we made during the semester, and make it correctly and safe enough for an egg to come back safely. This class is one of the fun classes out of my eight I have, and it is really cool to know this type of information for future reference. An example of an awesome project we are currntly doing is to create a 2L water rocket with two 2L bottles. My instructor for this class is Mr. West. Click the " Mr. West" button to go to his website, or click the " Science Solutions" button to see my different science blogs. Make sure to give me some feedback!
Rockets and Rocketry Presentaton
Our assignment in Science Workshop was to create a Power Point on four things: What is a roket, how does a rocket fly, name a few famous rocket inventors, and what are rockers used for? This was for us to get some informtion about rockets, because we were going to start building them right away.
What I learned from this project, was eactly what it intended to teach, about rockets and a little of their history. It also taught me that not all websites are reliable for information. Since I created this with Power Point, it definitely helped out my Power Point skills. I know for a fact that there was at least one thing I learned from using Power Point. I definitely recommend using Power Point, but I will be honest, I have never used Google Presentation yet, so I'm not sure which is better. Note: The first page got cut off while downloading the Power Point to Google Presentation.
