We left our hero being approached by Coach Mar right before his wrestling match. What important news has Coach Mar have to tell Vahae? Let's find out! 
Coach Mar approached me and said, " Vahae you... don't have a match." " Aaaawww maaaaannn " was all I heard coming out of my mouth. I was so hoping for a match. I wanted to know where I stood amongst all of the wrestlers in Fresno. " Yeah, I hate it when that happens" was all Coach Mar said. I went back to my seat and put my sweater and regular shoes back on. I was kind of disappointed about the whole thing. My wrestling teammates and my father later asked what had happened. I had explained the whole thing to them, and they thought that that stunk, too.

For the past two weeks now, I have been going to the mat room after school for my wrestling practice. I do believe that I am ready for my match. I'm not yet in varsity, but I know I can win. Well, when the match came up the other day, I got a little nervous. What if I don't win? I waited for all of the varsity matches, one by one, another tiger destroying yet another eagle. Finally, all of the varsity matches were over with, and I waiting for the moment Coach Mar, my wrestling coach, told me I had a match. Juat then, he told me to get ready for my match after the next two. My heart started beating faster and faster. I was a little nervous, by I still stretched out and I was thinking of what to use on my oppoonent. I watched my family in the bleachers, watching me as I got ready to rumble. I watched the last eagle get pinned before my turn, and I was about ready to step on the mat, when Coach Mar approached me. "Vahae you..." To be continued!

This is probably the hardest algebra lesson I've had yet. It's about how graphs and fractions relate. If you have a fraction, 2/3 let's say, and you want to graph it on a graph, how would you do that. At first I though, Well, you just put a dot about .6666 of one, and that's your answer. Wrong. You actually do something like this: You would, for this fraction at least, go right 3, and up 2. The denominator tells you how much you go right, the numerator tells you how much to go up 2. I was a little confused at first too, but I got used to it once I did some practice with it. The whole concept is weird, but it is what it is. So what would you call the line that goes right 2, up 1? It's the half line. What do you call the line that you go up 1, and right 1? If you gest whole or 1 line, you are correct. Do you know anything about graphing fractions? I had a great Halloween! How about you? I dressed up as a cowboy at school, but once I left and I was at my cousins' house, getting ready for Halloween, I changed into my other costume ( I didn't wear it at school because I'm not allowed to wear masks so it just ruined it ). It was a mixture of an old Ninja Turtles costume, a Mysterio (The wrestler ) mask, and a circus afro (FYI, Madagascar 3 is halarious! ). When everybody asked me what I was, I just said a mutant, because I wasn't really sure what I was. I got a fair amount of candy. It isn't like movies or books when kids get bags and bags full of candy, more like the bottom of your pillow case filled up. I got a lot of those mini 3 Musketeers, and some other candy I really like. My favorite candy is a Cookies 'n Cream Hershey's Chocolate bar. They're so good! Too bad I never get them for Halloween because they are too big.

This past two weeks, in science class, we've been creating and editing something called a Glogster. A Glogster is pretty much an online poster that you can create. We are doing one on the six characteristics of life. You can put graphics and videow in, to make it even cooler. You can also put text and links in it. Im not completely finished with mine yet, because I'm having a hard time putting the links in. It is a really cool way to do a presentation of some sort, and I will recommend it to my friends, family, and all of you. My Glogster on the si characteristics of life is in my Science Class page, but since I'm not finished yet, I will not comment or describe the project in detail. Another thing we have been doing is learning about microscopes. They are really cool pieces of equipment to work with. I've always wanted to work with one, because I know certain parts of science is intresting and fun. It's just memorising this, and reciting that, that makes science boring and dull. But, if you have a microscope with you, everything is now fun in class. The first time we used them, we were observing different slides withe tiny pieces of different body parts in slides. They were from a student's father, who worked at a hospital that cuts a tiny piece of a piece of your body to see if it is infected with something at all. The next time we used a microscope, we had to create our own slides by putting a tiny piece of newspaper on a drop of water on a slide, and then put a cover slip over the whole thing. Using the microscope has made class fun in Science Class, so I can't wait to continue using them. I believe that in the future, computers will be huge parts of our lives. I think that for disabled people there will be cars that run off a computer that has different sensors to detect other cars and they will be able to drive them around. I belive they will also become the main use to purchase and sell murchindise. I also think that video chating will completly replace letters and mail. Robots will be used for small, easy jobs such as casheirs, gas station attendents, and janitors. Even if all of this does not happen, computers will be important in the future.

I don't like bullying. At all. Me personally, have never been bullied before. I've never witnessed bullying either. Even though teachers always talk about bullying, and it's always on the news, I've never seen it before with my own eyes. I guess I'm always at the right place at the right time. If I ever do see bullying, I will do everything I can to stop it. Some things I would do to help stop bullying are to tell an adult, talk to the person who is bullying others, and/or comfort the person who is being bullied. I myself, will never bully others. I'm glad none of my friends are bullies. 

Before middle school started, I felt pretty nervous. One of my biggest fears was about the locker rooms. I thought they were going to be rowdy, like in cartoons, and there would be people trying to wack you with towls. Once P.E. time came, I realized that its not so bad. First of all, you don't HAVE to take a shower after P.E., and the kids are all really nice. And another cool part is that nobody is looking at you. They're all worried about themselves. And the actual period of P.E. isn't like in movies, where the P.E. teachers are like drill seargeants, yelling at you the whole time. They're actually pretty nice. Movies and cartoons can be so overexaderating. 

At first, I dindn't really care about the upcoming elections. I didn't really think it mattered much of who is president. Then one day I asked my mother what her opinion is on the upcoming elections. she said she wanted Barack Obama to be president again. I asked her, how come? Everybody says Obama is no good and that he shouldn't be president. Then she told me that he was president at the worst time you can be president. She also said that how was he supposed to make the this country any better in 4 years? He's not a magician or anything. I thought about this, and then I relized that she was right. How could you put so much pressure on one man, and even though he wasn't able to make things much better in 4 years, you still say he's no good and he shouldn't have a second chnce. If you really think about it, Barack Obama should be president one more time.

Even though I was only about one when 9/11 happened, I still know a big deal of information about it. I know that on 9/11 2001, a band of terrorists called Alkida took over a number of airplanes and were going to ram the planes into different important American symbols such as the White House, the Pentagon, and the Twin Towers. The two planes targeting the Twin Towers succeeded and took the towers down. The other planes were stopped by passengers and forced to the ground. About 2,900 people died that day, and many were injured. I also recently learned that the president had gotten a message from Osama-Bin Ladin before the attacks saying that there would be an attack soon. There were some extra security procausions, but it wasn't enough. 9/11 was an attack that had the most casualties in American History. I am grateful that something so devastating like that hsn't happened again.
